Presidential Video 2022: review our “Facing the voters” with Yannick Jadot

After Marine Le Pen, Fabien Roussel and Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, Yannick Jadot was the guest, this Friday evening from Nancy, of the new political meeting “Facing the voters” initiated by your newspaper and all the titles of the group EBRA*. The presidential candidate of the environmental pole to which his movement Europe Écologie Les Verts belongs, answered questions from six voters belonging to our panel of some 200 participants specially formed for this campaign, in partnership with the Odoxa Institute.

Hosted by journalists Elodie Bécu, senior reporter at the Ebra general information office in Paris, and Luc Bourrianne, deputy editor-in-chief of Est Républicain and Vosges Matin, this new meeting enabled our key witnesses to discuss, among other things, the purchasing power, pensions, transport, taxation, defence, housing, environment, security, justice, agriculture and health.

Yannick Jadot, 54, in cold with Jean-Luc Mélenchon, was nominated candidate after a tense primary with Sandrine Rousseau, supporter of ecofeminism. Tribune and debater, he has held since the beginning of the crisis in Ukraine a speech of firmness which offends a part of his own camp which accuses him of one-upmanship, at the risk of breaking with the identity of non-violence of the Greens.

Mathéo, Guillaume, Jean-Luc, Raphaël, Jeanne and Sylvie had more than an hour to ask all the questions that concern them to the man who is also an MEP.
