“Warning from Hamilton, nightmare for Vettel”
World champion Lewis Hamilton clinched his first victory at the Bahrain Grand Prix at the start of the season. The English Mercedes driver prevailed in Sakhir on Sunday after a thrilling duel with Max Verstappen in the Red Bull. It was Hamilton’s 96th Grand Prix victory. The international press writes:
Great Britain
“Daily Mail”: World champion Hamilton was harassed by Red Bull ace Max Verstappen until the very last second (…) He delivered one of the best defensive drives of his career, if not the best ever, with Verstappen right on his heels. Despite his tire advantage, the Red Bull man had to be content with second place.
