Press release: DreamLand opens 5 garden & terrace pop-up stores in Jambes, Kortrijk, Halle, Tongerlo and Lede

Wednesday, March 16, 2022

Following the flourishing success of previous years, DreamLand has decided to open several Jardin & Terrasse pop-up stores again in 2022. Those in Jambes, Kortrijk, Hal and Tongerlo will be accessible from March 16, and that of Lede from March 1.er April. Until July 23, customers will be able to discover a wide selection of garden furniture. A trend has been confirmed for several years: families want to take full advantage of their garden. This involves the purchase of garden furniture, deck chairs, parasols, garden decoration, children’s pools, above ground pools and much more.

Garden fun for the whole family

DreamLand, the market leader in outdoor games, successfully reintroduced garden furniture into its assortment a few years ago. Dieter Struye, managing director of Colruyt Group non-food, is delighted with this winning return: “ Customers clearly appreciate our quality, prices and wide selection. DreamLand will therefore support the combination of “play outside” and “enjoy outside” again this year. From garden furniture to parasols, swimming pools and Jacuzzis: customers will find everything they need with us to experience unforgettable moments in their garden. »

Pop-up garden furniture and swimming pools

The entire garden and outdoor games assortment is displayed on dreamland.be, but DreamLand also wants to give customers the opportunity to experience the items up close. The wooden garden furniture is FSC/PEFC certified. And in the pop-ups, customers can benefit from the knowledge and professional advice of garden experts. Dieter Struye: Garden furniture represents a big investment for many families: the latter naturally prefer to see it in person and test it before buying. The Garden & Terrace pop-ups therefore play a key role in this regard. »

The pop-up stores in Jambes, Kortrijk, Hal and Tongerlo will open their doors on March 16, that of Lede on March 1er April. They offer visitors a space ranging from 600 to 900 m² dedicated to garden furniture, parasols, deckchairs, patio heaters, garden lighting, decorations, etc. The 5 pop-ups will remain open until July 23 inclusive.

Leisure galore at home

Traditionally, sales of these items are boosted with the approach of spring, but the craze has been breaking records lately, according to Dieter Struye: ” For the third consecutive year, we see that customers are flocking to garden furniture, trampolines, climbing frames and swimming pools. Families are increasingly enjoying spring and summer in their own garden and are therefore investing more than ever in the pleasures of the great outdoors. »
