It’s the hit anniversary of 2024: Roland Kaiser has been on stage for 50 years and has thrilled people across generations with his music. To mark this occasion, ZDF is dedicating a big Saturday evening show to the pop legend, presented by Giovanni Zarrella. Together with Roland Kaiser, he looks back on his extraordinary career. The guests at the anniversary show include friends and companions such as Maite Kelly, Thomas Anders, Mary Roos, Bülent Ceylan, Beatrice Egli, Kerstin Ott, Nino de Angelo, Oli.P, Semino Rossi and Kim Fisher.

8:15 p.m., The First, Target Investigators – Polar Hunting, Thriller

The tragic death of a young woman presents the investigators Hanna Landauer (Ulrike C. Tscharre) and Lars Röwer (Hanno Koffler) with a difficult task: They are familiar with both the perpetrator Robert Lessing (Mike Hoffmann) and his next planned victim : Anne Herbst (Lisa Wagner), the older sister of the deceased. Anne lives under a false identity in a therapeutic community in northern Sweden, near the Arctic Circle. She hid here to escape her ex-boyfriend Robert, who persistently pursued her after their relationship ended and almost killed her.

In the game show “Schlag den Besten” eleven celebrities compete in ten challenges to prove their sporting and mental abilities. Cathrin Blake (Désirée Nosbusch) has decided to return to work as a criminal psychologist for the Galway police force after ten years, in addition to her work as a psychiatrist. Little does she know that this will lead to a serious conflict of conscience as she looks after young Nathan Smith (Robert McCormack), a suicidal young man who moves through Ireland with his family, the so-called Travellers, without a permanent address. Nathan is in love with Maggie Dunne (Emma Eliza Regan), a young, ambitious woman, also a Traveler, who is secretly studying psychology. Both dream of a better future. But then Maggie is found dead, brutally murdered and draped like a doll.
