8:15 p.m., The First, The Diplomat: Murder in St. Petersburg, political thriller
A man lands at BER airport with his six-year-old daughter from St. Petersburg who fears for his life: the German-Russian journalist Kolja Petrow (Beat Marti), a childhood friend of Karla Lorenz (Natalia Wörner). Instead of the diplomat, who knows nothing about his visit, a Russian secret service team awaits him and little Manja (Rena Harder). Before the kidnappers catch him, Kolja disappears a data stick and hides Manja in a rental car. When the police discovered the girl shortly afterwards, there was no trace of the kidnapped man.
8:15 p.m., ZDF, Der Quiz-Champion – The donation special, advice show
In a combination of quiz and donation broadcast, celebrities support the German Cancer Aid. Johannes B. Kerner welcomes various guests in the studio and recognizes special initiatives from social interaction and research. While the calls come in, the quizzes will be carried out as usual: experts like Franziska van Almsick, Michael “Bully” Herbig, Ulrich Wickert and Axel Milberg put three celebrities to the test in entertaining and exciting quizzes.
8:15 p.m., Sat.1, Spies Undercover – A wild transformation, animation
The 15-year-old outsider Walter Beckett is a true genius, who helps top spy Lance Sterling with his extraordinary inventions. But things don’t always go according to plan with the scientist, as a result of which the elegant Lance quickly becomes a pigeon. The dissimilar duo hardly has time to transform back, as a much greater threat is approaching.

After a war, Chicago is isolated from the rest of the world and tries to find a new social system: each person is assigned to one of five groups, depending on their character traits. Tris (Shailene Woodley) fits into three factions – so she is an “indefinite” one. Because these are considered dangerous for the system, the brave girl must fear for her life from now on.

It’s been ten years since the ghost hunter John Gregory (Jeff Bridges) managed to imprison the mighty witch Malkin (Julianne Moore) and thus protect humanity from her and her followers. When Malkin manages to escape, the fate of humanity rests in the hands of the young Tom Ward (Ben Barnes). However, the latter has no idea of its destination. He is the seventh son of a seventh son, a so-called Spook. Only John Gregory tells Tom about his abilities. However, there is hardly any time left to teach Tom the art of ghost hunting.
