Nina let the girl spend the night at her house, apparently giving her hope. Emily has one wish: she wants to live with Nina. When Emily suddenly disappears, Nina expects the worst.

In an extraordinary film project, ZDF looks behind the facade of the seemingly overpowering Russian army. In collaboration with the research platform “CORRECTIV” and international partners, it is possible for the first time to produce a documentary about the system within Putin’s armed forces with the help of insiders. ZDF shows the dramatic escape of four defectors from the army and mercenary troops as well as from the Russian gulag system.
