Commissioner Lucas (Ulrike Kriener) is faced with a mystery: a man’s corpse has been dug up years later. The duty inspector, Wolfram Truss (Rainer Bock), draws Lucas’s attention to traces on the body that point to an old case. However, the file on this is kept under lock and key at the State Office for the Protection of the Constitution. Lucas mainly encounters stalling tactics there. She still finds out that the victim had planned an attack on the Christmas market in Nuremberg.
