In “Stuber – 5 Stars Undercover” (ProSieben) an Uber driver becomes a police officer against his will. In “Ein Fall für Zwei” (ZDF), a custody battle ends fatally and Jason Statham is on the road as a contract killer in “Mechanic: Resurrection” (RTLzwei).

The police officer Vic Manning (Dave Bautista) receives a lead on the whereabouts of the unscrupulous drug dealer Oka Tedjo (Iko Uwais), who has Vic’s partner on the conscience. Since his eyesight is impaired after an eye operation, Vic orders an Uber to take him to Oka. His driver Stu (Kumail Nanjiani) – who is very attached to his five-star rating – has little idea that a life-threatening chase is about to take place.
8:15 p.m., ZDF, A case for two: lawyers and murderers, crime series
After the trial against star lawyer Burkhard Westmann (Michael von Au), Karin Ritter (Caroline Grothgar) is murdered. Ritter had accused her former boss of raping her. Presumably this was not an isolated incident. It was not Westmann who was arrested for the murder, but Matthias Zeiler (Maximilian Grill). In the custody dispute over the two children, Karin Ritter represented Zeiler’s ex-wife Bianca (Susanne Bormann) and even threatened to withdraw her access rights. Zeiler’s daughter asks Benni (Antoine Monot, Jr.) to help her father.
8.15 p.m., Das Erste, Die Eifel Practice: Chances, Doctor’s Melodrama
Care assistant Vicky Röver (Jessica Ginkel) takes the time to get to know patients and families. Your all-round view turns out to be a stroke of luck during a home visit. When Vicky visits 70-year-old Gerd Fischer (Peter Franke) because of his high blood pressure, she noticed motor weaknesses in his eight-month-old grandson. The experienced care assistant fears a rare and life-threatening muscle wasting disease in the little one.

In “Couple Wars” the perfect relationship is worth up to 100,000 euros. Because not brains or strength, but just knowing the better half and the teamwork as a couple decide on victory or defeat. Blackmailed back into his old job, the “Mechanic” travels around the world and does what he does best: commit three contract killings and make them look like accidents.
