A journalist is murdered in “Breisgau – Bullenstall” (ZDF). At “The Taste” (Sat.1), pressure cooking is on the agenda. In “Side Effects” (arte) a miracle pill has a terrible effect on young Emily.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, Breisgau – Bullenstall, crime thriller

Her first case, the death of a journalist who was investigating suspected corruption in Tanja Wilkens (Katharina Nesytowa) new district, puts Tanja in a moral dilemma. After starting work on the Freiburg homicide squad, she encounters an unusual concentration of related and related police officers, led by district manager Dorothea Danzeisen (Johanna Gastdorf) and her nephew Dennis Danzeisen (Joscha Kiefer) – Tanja’s investigative partner.

On the day of his wife’s funeral, Patrick (Justus von Dohnányi) wants to take his own life. But suddenly Malte (Ulrich Matthes) shows up with him, his best friend from his youth, whom he has not seen for over 30 years. While Malte apparently wants to build on the old friendship seamlessly, Patrick initially remains aloof and reproaches the unexpected visitor for his disappearance from the small town and his life at the time. He wonders what Malte wants from him and why he’s back now.

Today’s team cooking is tough: under the watchful eye of guest judge Martin Klein, the candidates have to present a starter and a main course in just 60 minutes. From sea urchins to ants to Mexican cactus leaves, some exotic products are on the menu. Vanilla and chocolate delicacies can then be created in solo cooking, until knife and mussels are used in the final round.

After Emily Taylor’s (Rooney Mara) husband Martin (Channing Tatum) was released from prison, the couple’s attempt to return to their old, carefree life has failed. Emily suffers from severe depression after attempting suicide. The drugs that psychiatrist Dr. Jonathan Banks (Jude Law) prescribes do not work. After consulting Emily’s former therapist Dr. Victoria Siebert (Catherine Zeta-Jones), the doctor tries a new type of pharmaceutical. At first this seems to work very well, but then alarming side effects become noticeable.

The security guard Toni Musulin (François Cluzet) spent a year preparing his mega-coup. The taciturn loner has been working stoically and reliably for the security company IBRIS for ten years and is at the mercy of his boss’s humiliation. But only apparently: behind the backdrop of his everyday life, Toni is meticulously planning his revenge – a heist of the century.
