The lawyer Heiland (Das Erste) represents a laundry owner who is accused of bodily harm. ZDF is showing the documentary “Return of the Dictators?” and on ProSieben, Joko and Klaas are fighting for airtime again.
8:15 p.m., Das Erste, Die Heiland – We are lawyers: hard work, legal series
Charles Nganga (Jonathan Bella Luto), an employee of a large laundry, is injured by a defective industrial hot ironer. The laundry manager, Angelika Wesche (Petra Hartung), then turns to Romy for help; she has to sue for negligence responsible for bodily harm. What was the cause of the accident: wear and tear, manipulation of the machine? Angelika Wesche is sure that someone wants to harm her.
8:15 p.m., ZDF, return of the dictators? From Mao to Xi Jinping, documentary series
Mao’s successors opened China to the West, replacing autocracy with collective leadership. Xi Jinping is reversing developments again. Is he reinventing the dictatorship? When Xi Jinping became general secretary of the CPC in 2012, many expected a “Chinese Gorbachev.” Now observers are talking about a relapse into totalitarianism, a kind of digital dictatorship.
8:15 p.m., ZDFneo, Munich Murder: So you can sleep peacefully at night, crime thriller
The investigator trio Schaller (Alexander Held), Flierl (Bernadette Heerwagen) and Neuhauser (Marcus Mittermeier) are supposed to close a file. They are just explaining to the mother that her son Benno (Richard Ciuchendea) is no longer a missing person case when a shot is fired. Flierl and Neuhauser arrest the suspected perpetrator. He seems special in every way. He looks like Hollywood star Omar Sharif, successfully hides his identity, escapes from the police station and later even kidnaps Angelika Flierl. Neuhauser and Schaller are alarmed, also because the murder weapon is a pistol from the Bundeswehr.
8:15 p.m., ProSieben, Joko & Klaas against ProSieben, show
Joko and Klaas challenge an entire station together. The aim is to compete against the entire ProSieben universe – everyone is invited to a test of strength. ProSieben alone decides on opponents and games. If Joko and Klaas triumph, the broadcaster gives them a 15-minute live broadcast slot to organize freely. If your employer wins, you must place yourself unconditionally at his service.

The mountaineer Aron Ralston (James Franco) has a serious accident: in a narrow crack in the ground in Blue John Canyon, a falling boulder traps his right arm – Aron is unable to move. After several hours he also realizes that his hand has already died under the rock. In order to save himself, he has to amputate his arm, but he lacks the necessary tools. Using a video camera, he says goodbye to family and friends.
