In “Die Toten vom Bodensee” (ZDFneo) the body of a girl who disappeared 15 years ago is found. The lawyer Heiland (Das Erste) gets into a dispute between two competitive swimmers. In the classic “Bodyguard” (kabel eins), Kevin Costner takes care of Whitney Houston.

8:15 p.m., ZDFneo, The Dead from Lake Constance – Abyssal, Crime

The wax corpse of a young girl, entwined with iron chains, is recovered from Lake Constance. The dead woman is Marie Häusler, who disappeared without a trace 15 years ago. Shortly before her 18th birthday, the girl with Down syndrome could suddenly no longer be found. Marie’s parents, Manfred (Cornelius Obonya) and Jasmin Häusler (Katharina Stemberger), never got over the disappearance of their beloved daughter. During the investigation, Zeiler (Nora Waldstätten) and Oberländer (Matthias Koeberlin) stir up a lot of dust in an apparently peaceful community.

Jens Stuckmann (Jonas Fürstenau), former competitive swimmer in the GDR team, attacks Marcel Reber (Ralph Hönicke), his son’s swimming coach. The possible criminal offense ranges from bodily harm to attempted manslaughter. The statements of the two men contradict each other. Romy (Christina Athenstädt), who is defending Stuckmann, learns that Reber is living with his ex-wife and his son Carlo (Lennart Hillmann). The two men have known each other for years, they achieved successes together in the swimming pool.

Six celebrities and one thing in common: Their roots are not in Germany. For “ZDFzeit” they spend an evening together and talk openly about the question: What is German? Between private life and spotlight, the documentary accompanies actress Collien Ulmen-Fernandes, rapper and actor Eko Fresh, top chef The Duc Ngo, presenter Panagiota Petridou, blogger Merve Kayikci and rapper and actor Sinan-G.

Top bodyguard Frank Farmer (Kevin Costner) is supposed to protect the moody pop diva Rachel Marron (Whitney Houston), who has received several threatening letters. Frank – who falls madly in love with Rachel contrary to his professional principles – can prevent an assassination attempt at the last minute. But at the Academy Awards, the assassin strikes again.

The two families Kovacic and Schellenberg are close friends. When their son Emil (Ben Lehmann) is found dead, the world of the Kovacics falls apart. Emil’s cell phone trace ends at a parking lot known as a meeting place for anonymous sex. His body is found about 20 kilometers away in the Isar. The chief inspectors Batic (Miroslav Nemec) and Leitmayr (Udo Wachtveitl) fight their way through a thicket of lies and deception in their investigations.
