8:15 p.m., The First, Do You Understand Fun?, Show
Barbara Schöneberger hosts a festive Christmas edition of the big Saturday evening show “Do you understand fun?”. On the eve of the third Advent, she welcomed numerous prominent guests to the studio, some of whom acted as decoys or were led onto the ice themselves. Among the guests are Judith Williams, Jutta Speidel, The Ehrlich Brothers, Thomas Anders and Florian Silbereisen.
8:15 p.m., ZDF, Stralsund – Dead Dreams, crime thriller
Stanimir Panov’s body lies on the side of a country road. Was the harvester involved in an accident, or was it possibly murder? Jule Zabek (Sophie Pfennigstorf) follows a lead to the Stralsund police and suspects a violent crime. While their boss Karl Hidde (Alexander Held) struggles with the challenges of his new position as district manager, Jule and colleague Karim (Karim Günes) search for a possible motive for the murder among the harvest workers.
8:15 p.m., RTL, Ninja Warrior Germany – celebrity special, sports show
In this year’s “Ninja Warrior Celebrity Special” everything is upside down: Twelve prominent athletes form three teams to collect money for the RTL foundation “We Help Children” as part of the telethon. Team Buschi, Team Köppi or Team Wonti – which team will climb Mount Midoriyama as the winner and collect the most money? Also present: Luca Hänni, Gigi Birofio, Dr. Christine Theiss, Filip Pavlovic, Thorsten Legat, Irina Hülse, Adriano Salvaggio and Martin Schmitt.
8:15 p.m., ProSieben, The Masked Singer, music show
On “The Masked Singer,” ten stars from all walks of life compete in oversized, elaborate costumes that make them completely unrecognizable. One can only speculate about the identity of the prominent undercover singers. Viewers vote for their favorites. At the end of the show, the masked celebrity with the fewest votes will have the secret revealed: which star is hidden under the mask?
8:15 p.m., RTLzwei, The Wolf’s Call – decision in depth, thriller
Young Chanteraide (François Civil) works as a sonar acoustician on board a French nuclear submarine. Thanks to his near-perfect hearing, he can identify every underwater sound. However, due to a serious mistake during a mission, he is suspended from duty. Shortly afterwards, when the political situation in Europe worsens dramatically and the world is on the brink of nuclear escalation, Chanteraide’s unique skills are called upon again. The pressure on him is enormous, as any further mistakes could trigger World War III.
