Moderator Barbara Schöneberger presents a new edition of the big Saturday evening show: In addition to the latest fun films with the hidden camera, the focus is on many prominent guests, including Friedrich and Max von Thun, Judith Rakers, Phil Laude, “Waldi” Lehnerts, Horst Lichter and Isaak, the German representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, Marie Brand and the Persecuted Bride, crime thriller

Shots are fired at a campsite. The groundskeeper dies, the real target is Rasmus Tauber (David Rott), who is constantly camping. When Marie Brand (Mariele Millowitsch) and Jürgen Simmel (Hinnerk Schönemann) begin the investigation, he flees. Tauber was only recently released from prison. His ex-wife Gwen Tauber (Anna Brüggemann) had accused him of stalking. She suffers from the consequences of his persecutions. She looks after the disabled Benno Bundinger (Benno Schulz), who fell victim to Tauber’s last attacks of jealousy.

On “The Masked Singer,” ten stars from all walks of life compete in oversized, elaborate costumes that make them completely unrecognizable. One can only speculate about the identity of the prominent undercover singers. Viewers vote for their favorites. At the end of the show, the masked celebrity with the fewest votes will have the secret revealed: which star is hidden under the mask?

Commissioner Bram de Groot (Fedja van Huêt) and his team are shown a disturbing video: In a landfill in Malaysia, the dead body of a little boy lies among highly toxic hazardous waste from Europe! The trail leads to the renowned Amsterdam-based recycling company “Golden Wings Logistics”, whose owner Laura Lee (Joy Maria Bai) is a highly respected personality for her social commitment. Action against Lee can only be carried out with the utmost sensitivity. Bram de Groot infiltrates Alex Pollack (Hannes Jaenicke), his specialist for undercover operations, into the company.
