In “On Thin Ice” (ZDF), a homeless person penetrates more and more into the life of a cook. RTL shows the big thank you special from “Wer wird Millionär” and in “Hustlers” (ZDF) strippers take their former clients out after a financial crash.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, On Thin Ice, Drama

Winter in Berlin. In the middle of the night, the cook Ira (Julia Koschitz) drives into a homeless person in the parking lot in front of her apartment. Konrad (Carlo Ljubek) has set up camp there with his dog. Although tired and exhausted from her work in a hotel restaurant, she takes the only slightly injured Konrad to the nearest hospital. This is the beginning of Ira and Konrad’s common path. Konrad penetrates further and further into Ira’s everyday life. To get rid of him, she tries to give him back his place in life.

Stephan Lamby has been accompanying the Chancellor candidates Laschet, Baerbock and Scholz through the election year since December 2020. The film shows how the parties and their actors are repositioning themselves in terms of content and personnel in the ten months before the federal election. These are hard-fought decisions that the author can observe up close and that are overlaid by the dramatic developments of the corona pandemic.

The third episode of the season will be refreshingly delicious.
