Fresh out of jail, ex-policeman Kessel gets into trouble again in “Alles auf Rot” (ZDF). In the “Lion’s Den” (VOX), two bicycle inventors are hoping for an investor. At kabel eins, Dwayne Johnson becomes an informer in “Snitch – A Risky Deal”.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, everything on red, thriller

After two years, Erich Kessel (Fritz Karl) is released on probation. The time in prison was a nightmare for him – as a cop among gangsters. Kessel is now clean and wants to stay so. His ex-partner Mario Diller (Nicholas Ofczarek) got Kessel a job in a bar: “Anyone who doesn’t work becomes a bartender,” say some. “Once a cop, always a cop,” say the others. It boils down to both. Kessel has received an order from his fellow inmate Walid Schukri (Kida Khodr Ramadan) in prison: He is to find the murderer of Schukri’s daughter and bring him to him. 50,000 euros are up for grabs.

8:15 p.m., VOX, Die Höhle der Löwen, Gründershow

Iris-Sabine and Carmen Langstädtler present freibeik – a bicycle saddle joint that makes the saddle movable. Nils Glagau jumps straight onto the bike and Judith Williams would also like to be convinced of the new riding experience. The test drivers are impressed. Since John wants to save him from life behind bars, he enters into a dangerous deal with the DEA, the drug law enforcement agency: In return for his son’s freedom, he is smuggled into a drug cartel and is supposed to get information about the boss.

Grant Burden fights poachers on the edge of the Serengeti and attaches tracking devices to elephants and rhinos. Liu Yidan in China works for a small conservation organization that saves migratory birds. Millions of them are sold illegally at animal markets every year. Fredrik Myhre works in Norway against overfishing of the seas. He is one of the few conservationists allowed to attend the annual catch quota conferences.

10:15 p.m., ZDF, The Purple Rivers – Black Moon, Thriller

Inspector Niémans (Olivier Marchal) and Camille (Erika Sainte) are investigating in the Hauts-de-France region of northern France. They track a serial killer who kills his victims in the order of their zodiac signs. While vacationing by the sea, Camille meets Paul (Pierre Cachia), whose wife has disappeared without a trace. When she informs Niémans about the case, he spontaneously comes to her. By chance, they witness an accident in which a young man dies in a sand yacht.
