In “Friesland – Der blaue Jan” (ZDFneo) an old custom comes to a fatal end. Joko and Klaas are again fighting for airtime against ProSieben. In “A man named Ove” (ZDF) a grouch drives his neighbors crazy.

8:15 p.m., ZDFneo, Friesland: Der Blaue Jan, crime comedy

Four disguised men armed with harpoons run through Leer’s old town and scare everything that gets in their way. The “Blaue Jans” are particularly interested in women. A popular old custom among the locals. But this year the “Blaue Jan” fell into disrepute. During the commotion in the town hall, Gesa Dieken, the city’s women’s representative, is killed with a whaling harpoon. The assumption that one of the four masked “Blaue Jans” is involved in the murder is obvious.

8:15 p.m., ProSieben, Joko & Klaas against ProSieben, show

Joko and Klaas challenge an entire station together. The aim is to stand up to the entire ProSieben universe – everyone is invited to the showdown. ProSieben alone decides on opponents and games. If Joko and Klaas triumph, the broadcaster gives them a 15-minute live slot to freely design. If their employer wins, they must place themselves unconditionally in his service.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, A man named Ove, comedy

The 59-year-old widower Ove (Rolf Lassgård) bickers with all the neighbors. When he loses his job, nothing keeps him alive: he ties a rope in the living room so that he can finally be reunited with his beloved wife (Ida Engvoll) in death. Just now, however, new neighbors arrive who first knock down Ove’s mailbox: a goofy husband (Tobias Almborg), his pregnant wife Parvaneh (Bahar Pars) and their two daughters. Of course, Ove initially meets them in anything but a cordial manner. The quick-witted Parvaneh, however, is not impressed by the monster.

8:15 p.m., kabel eins, Starsky & Hutch, crime comedy

The always correct Dave Starsky (Ben Stiller) and Ken “Hutch” Hutchinson (Owen Wilson), an undisciplined sonny boy, are police officers who couldn’t be more opposite. And yet, as a team, they are tasked with apprehending a drug lord who is marketing cocaine that sniffer dogs can’t smell. However, with the help of their informant, Huggy Bear, they must first learn to work together to solve the case – always with a cool line on their lips.

8:15 p.m., 3Sat, the policeman and the girl, thriller drama

Martin Manz (Albrecht Schuch) always thought he was a good person. He is popular and well-known in his village. That’s why he doesn’t mention that he ran over the daughter of his best friend Frank Eberhardt (Johannes Allmayer) while drunk. Because what’s the point of a confession? The terrible accident happened and cannot be undone. Martin deeply regrets it. Miriam Eberhardt is in a coma, but the doctors are optimistic. Martin wants to try to make up for his guilt without burdening those around him with the brutal truth. But in order to keep his secret, he has to push his limits.
