After killing a wicked witch 15 years ago, the siblings Hansel (Jeremy Renner) and Gretel (Gemma Arterton) have matured into well-trained witch hunters. One day she makes her way to Augsburg, where the mayor of the city instructs them to find a number of missing children. Behind the kidnappings is the evil head witch Muriel (Famke Janssen), who wants to sacrifice the children in a ritual. The brutal magistrate Berringer, who wants to hold the siblings responsible for what happened, causes them additional problems.
