The miniseries “House of Glass” (Das Erste) tells the story of a family in a state of emergency. On ZDF, Sebastian Lege exposes tricks of the food industry. In “Dünentod” (RTL), a young woman disappears without a trace after a night of partying.

8:15 p.m., Das Erste, House of Glass: The Aquarius, drama series

The four adult siblings come together in their parents’ house for the wedding of Chris (Aram Arami) and Emily (Sarah Mahita), the youngest daughter of the foundry entrepreneur Richard Schwarz (Götz Schubert) and his wife Barbara (Juliane Köhler). Also Felix, who emigrated to Canada, is the black sheep of the family. A sudden alarm in the house turns the living room into a panic room and Emily is caught up in an old trauma: as a child, she was kidnapped for three weeks and locked in a box in the forest for hours. Chris manages to calm his wife down, but the celebratory mood is soon disrupted by further family tensions.

Questionable meatballs, tricky surprise eggs, dyed caviar and tasteless rosemary extract: Sebastian Lege reveals what is really in popular foods. Ü-Eggs lure children with cheap toys, rosemary extract is a hidden additive, ready-made meatballs hardly contain any good ingredients and German caviar is bursting with additives. Sebastian Lege exposes the false product promises.

8:15 p.m., RTL, Dünentod – A North Sea crime thriller: The grave on the beach, crime thriller

Werlesiel is a tranquil place on the Frisian coast. But the idyll is over when a young woman goes to… Party night disappears in the thick sea fog. Police officer Femke Folkmer (Pia-Micaela Barucki) doesn’t believe in a normal missing person case and starts investigating. Tjark Wolf (Hendrik Duryn) from the Wilhelmshaven police soon arrives to investigate the disappearance of the unknown woman.

Susan Cooper (Melissa McCarthy) works for the CIA – behind the desk. But when her partner and top agent Bradley Fine (Jude Law) drops out, she has to prove herself as an undercover agent and leave her comfort zone. For the security of the nation, she sets out to search for a hidden bomb, disguised as a single mother from Iowa. She makes every conceivable mistake.

8:15 p.m., ZDFneo, The Last Key Witness – Escape to the Alps, thriller

During an operation at a scrapyard, a young, committed policewoman kills a suspected attacker. Her colleague exonerates her by making it look like self-defense. Traumatized and reluctant, Sarah Korr (Lisa Maria Potthoff) is sent on a break to forget the incident. But when she sets off on a trip, Sarah witnesses the father of a little boy being shot at the airport. Instinctively, she saves the shocked child from the killer and pulls him onto the next train with her.
