In “Im Schatten der Angst” (ZDF) a compulsive liar claims to have murdered her psychologist. The musician Joey Kelly is a guest in the “Lion’s Cave” (VOX). Later, two bomb disposal experts risk their lives in “Trigger Point” (ZDF).
8:15 p.m., ZDF, in the shadow of fear – you should not lie, thriller
Forensic psychiatrist Dr. Karla Eckhard (Julia Koschitz) meets a former patient: Anna Lobrecht (Mercedes Müller) is a compulsive liar. She claims to have murdered her psychologist. Anna suffers from pseudologia phantastica because she had to deny her father, a Catholic priest, from an early age. Karla accepted Anna’s assessment because she claimed that her psychologist, Christoph Schäfler (Christoph von Friedl), had sexually harassed and attacked her. Now Schäfler has been found dead on the banks of the Danube, and Anna has made a confession.
8:15 p.m., VOX, Die Höhle der Löwen, Gründershow
Musician and extreme athlete Joey Kelly is a guest in the “Lion’s Den”. As a brand ambassador for “My Esel”, he supports the founding duo Christoph Fraundorfer and Heinz Mayrhofer – and takes a few laps through the cave on his individually configured “bike”. The highlight: The bicycles are made of wood and are adapted to the height and weight of their rider. Will the tailor-made product also inspire the lions?
8:15 p.m., The First, River Giants: The Yukon, Documentary
North America’s west coast, the northernmost part. The Yukon begins in the mountains of British Columbia, Canada. Another four and a half hour flight time north of Vancouver. It flows through Canada’s Northwest and through Alaska in a great arc to the Bering Sea, more than 3000 kilometers. In winter, this huge river freezes completely. Then it is a legendary highway made of ice – through the untouched nature of northern North America. Its hinterland is immense, its tributaries notorious, such as the Klondike River, its wildlife fascinating: frozen grizzlies, huge herds of reindeer, massive moose, agile salmon and shy lynx.

Germany’s favorite presenter Günter Jauch has already convinced in countless shows with his witty manner, which has completely upset many a candidate. Fever with the candidates and diligently guess when it says again: “Who wants to be a millionaire?”.
10:15 p.m., ZDF, Trigger Point: Defuser, action drama series
Lana Washington (Vicky McClure) and Joel Nutkins (Adrian Lester), two experienced bomb disposal technicians in the service of the London police, complete a complicated operation in a busy housing estate with their team. After the alleged explosive device turned out to be harmless fireworks, Lana and Joel have to free the suspected bomb maker Andy from an explosive device on his body. But there is still a deadly danger lurking in the neighborhood parking lot.
