Richard (Götz Schubert) and Felix (Marlin Rose) pick up the distraught Emily (Sarah Mahita) in Belgium and bring her home. Richard assumes there will be another kidnapping, but doesn’t want to involve the police. Instead, he informs Hanno (Samir Fuchs), his long-time security advisor, who calls the siblings together at their parents’ house. The nerve-wracking wait for a report from the kidnappers is grueling.

Conjure up delicious meals with ingredients from the refrigerators of complete strangers: this is the challenge you face in “Open the refrigerator!” per episode, two professional cooking teams compete against each other. Who will ultimately create the tastiest menu? In each episode, the final decision about the good or bad taste is made by the respective refrigerator owners. Whoever has collected the most points at the end emerges as the winning team.

Gracie Hart (Sandra Bullock), a passionate FBI agent, is involved by the FBI in a case involving a bomb threat at the Miss United States beauty pageant. Although she is anything but a born beauty queen, she is infiltrated as an agent at the finals of the competition. The alternative would be suspension from service. Her superior Eric Mathews (Benjamin Bratt) makes this surprising decision.

Attorney Alex (Ina Paule Klink) represents her friend Ekki Talkötter (Oliver Korittke) in a compensation lawsuit. Ekki slipped on a spilled yogurt in the supermarket and tore a ligament. Actually a clear case. But in the trial, Ekki suddenly appears as an insane alcoholic who is responsible for the damage himself. The statement on his bonus card proves that he purchased large quantities of alcohol.
