The boy “Morin” (The First) changes under the pressure of a merciless elite school. Johannes B. Kerner presents “The Big ‘Terra X’ Show” on ZDF. The football series “Good Friends – The Rise of FC Bayern” starts on RTL.

8:15 p.m., Das Erste, Morin, fantasy film

In the near future, Morin (Leo Alonso-Kallscheuer) receives a high-level education, which makes his parents Katja (Marlene Morreis) and Steven (Frederic Linkemann) extremely proud. The boy ambitiously throws himself into the exciting, ultra-modern school life and into his dream of an expedition to Mars. He receives active support from Leona (Yodit Tarikwa), a hologram AI. And he needs that too. Because the pressure to perform is enormous. Using innovative but also manipulative psychological methods, school principal Lynn Lomann (Wiebke Puls) and teacher Konrad Dramm (Michael Kranz) demand the best and do everything they can to ensure that the children become the country’s new bearers of hope.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, the big “Terra X” show, show

The journey takes you from fairytale castles to the majestic Victoria Falls to the International Space Station (ISS). It explores the ruins of Pompeii, an ancient city preserved in a single moment. The show also takes a look at the history of Hollywood, a suburb that is smaller than Bautzen but became a world-famous dream factory. Johannes B. Kerner moderates the show and is supported by experts such as astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti.

8:15 p.m., RTL, Good Friends – The Rise of FC Bayern, football series

In the summer of 1965, FC Bayern Munich achieved promotion to the Bundesliga. The series tells the story of five promising footballers who are inextricably linked to the club and German football: Gerd Müller, Sepp Maier, Franz Beckenbauer, Paul Breitner and Uli Hoeneß. In addition to their personal life stories, the series highlights the story of a team between 1965 and 1974 that came from nothing.

8:15 p.m., Sat.1, The Taste, cooking competition

Nelson Müller, coach in season 11, returns as a guest judge and gives the episode the motto “German cuisine”. The teams have to decide by lottery which regional specialties they will cook with Genuss-Spoons. The focus is on dishes from northern, southern, eastern and western Germany, including popular classics such as Käsespätzle or fried fish. In solo cooking, your skills are put to the test with local ingredients such as apples, onions and potatoes.

8:15 p.m., ZDFneo, Wilsberg: 90 – 60 – 90, crime thriller

Ekki (Oliver Korittke) is astonished when the well-known model Sonja Conrad (Jasmin Lord) shows up at his friend Wilsberg’s (Leonard Lansink) antique store and asks for help from a stalker. Together with Wilsberg, Ekki brings Sonja back to her mother at the hotel. But shortly afterwards, Sonja runs out of her hotel room screaming; there is a woman’s doll on her bed, covered in blood-red roses. A little later her assistant is found murdered.
