When Lona Vogt (Henny Reents) goes to a mysterious meeting at the port of Schwanitz in place of her father, she is seriously injured by an explosion. The veterinarian Hauke Jacobs (Hinnerk Schönemann) and his assistant Jule Christiansen (Marleen Lohse) do everything they can to find the perpetrator and bring them to justice – just like Lona’s father Reimar Vogt (Peter Prager). Except that he is not interested in a constitutional solution. Hauke Jacobs finds out that Lona was on the trail of a murder plan, her last notes revolve around a dangerous poison.

On the occasion of the 20th birthday of Europe’s most successful talent show, a best-of shows the strongest scenes and highlights from 20 seasons of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”. The video sequences are commented on individually or in pairs by former jury members and talents from the casting show, who present their personal highlights, reminisce or put their “DSDS” knowledge to the test.

Drug dealer David (Jason Sudeikis) is being blackmailed by his boss into smuggling a large quantity of dope across the US-Mexico border. As a cover he puts together a family. A stripper (Jennifer Aniston) and two neglected neighborhood teenagers are willing to help him out in exchange for cash. Lo and behold, the blended family is growing into a powerful troupe.

Today, Rebecca Mir and Nilam Farooq will duel against each other in up to 15 rounds. Who shows fighting spirit and fitness? Who shows brains and skill? The winner receives 100,000 euros. Elton leads through the evening with “Beat the Star”, Ron Ringguth comments.
9:45 p.m., the first, blindly determined – the lost souls of Vienna, thriller
The blind ex-commissioner Alexander Haller (Philipp Hochmair) is familiar with kidnappings from his time as chief inspector in Vienna. When his sister Sophie (Patricia Aulitzky) is kidnapped while visiting the theater with his chauffeur Niko (Andreas Guenther), Haller knows immediately: no police, because 50 percent of hostage-takings involving the police end fatally! Niko’s suspicion that it could be about the 50,000 euros he owes the betting mafia turns out to be wrong.
