In “Polizeiruf 110” (Das Erste), a motif car builder is murdered in the run-up to the Cottbus carnival. The medical series “With Heart and Holly” starts on ZDF and on ProSieben it’s “Who steals the show from me?”

8:15 p.m., Das Erste, police call 110: Cottbus headless, crime thriller

In advance of the Cottbuser At Carnival, the Pole Jurek Bukol (Sigi Polap), a motif car builder, is found dead in his workshop under mysterious circumstances. Detective Inspector Vincent Ross (André Kaczmarcyk) is informed by his Cottbus colleague Alexandra Luschke (Gisa Flake). Together with Karl Rogov (Frank Leo Schröder), who provides support from the station in Swiecko, they take over the further investigation. A fire in Bukol’s workshop not only led to his death, but also destroyed his float for the carnival parade.

When newly qualified doctor Holly Sass arrives in tranquil Tangermünde, she runs to country doctor Dr. Katrin Herz open doors. Literally. The patients are lining up and husband Bernd is about to show his wife the red card: Things can’t go on like this! The practice needs reinforcements, and before Holly has locked up her bike, the employment contract is on the table. The Berliner actually traveled to the Elbe for completely different reasons: Holly is looking for her birth mother, whose traces were lost in this place 32 years earlier.

“Grill den Henssler” is celebrating its anniversary this fall – the first episode was shown on screens ten years ago. In the fourth episode, Sidney Hoffmann, Guido Cantz and Evelyn Burdecki want to finish off the cooking king Steffen Henssler in the culinary competition moderated by Laura Wontorra. Who can convince the jury trio around Jana Ina Zarrella, Reiner Calmund and Christian Rach in the grill show where anything can happen?

In “Who’s Stealing the Show?” Probably the most extraordinary prize in the show’s history is at stake: Joko Winterscheidt’s job. Three celebrities and a wildcard viewer challenge presenter Joko as candidates in order to – literally – steal the show. The winner becomes the quiz show host of the next edition and can reshape the show to his will – while Joko, as a candidate, has to fight to win back his own show.

8:15 p.m., RTLzwei, The Hunger Games – Mockingjay (1), sci-fi drama

Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) is rescued from the Hunger Games arena by the rebels. She then goes into hiding in the underground District 13, which was believed to have been destroyed. When a war breaks out that will determine the future of Panem, Katniss must decide whether to support the rebels in their fight against the Capitol. Fate is in their hands.
