Preview: Princess Diana mixes up "The Crown" from November

The eight-part Swedish series "Love and Anarchy" will be available from November 4th. It is about Sofie (Ida Engvoll), a career-conscious consultant and married mother of two children. When she received the order to modernize a long-established publisher, she met the young IT expert Max (Björn Mosten) and began an unexpectedly daring flirt with him. Sofie and Max secretly challenge each other to do things that call modern life into question. But the harmless games soon turn into bitter seriousness when the challenges become unheard of and the consequences immeasurable.

The comedy series "Dash & Lily", which will be available from November 10th, is already exuding the Christmas spirit. In it, the cynical Dash (Austin Abrams) and the happy Lily (Midori Francis) communicate in Christmas New York only via a red notebook. And it turns out that opposites do attract. Singer and actor Nick Jonas (28) is involved as executive producer.

Netflix will deliver the absolute highlight for all Royal fans from November 15, 2020. In the fourth season of "The Crown", Princess Diana (1961-1997) appears for the first time, played by Emma Corrin (24). She was already seen in the trailers in the famous wedding dress. Olivia Colman (46) embodies Queen Elizabeth II (94) one more time, Josh O'Connor (30) returns as Prince Charles (71). "The X-Files" star Gillian Anderson (52) slips into the role of Margaret Thatcher (1925-2013).

Comedian Luke Mockridge (31) celebrates his fictional acting debut in the Netflix miniseries "ÜberChristmas" from November 27th. In it he plays Basti, who is unsuccessfully tinkering with his musician career in the big city and drives to his old home, the tranquil Eifel, over the Christmas holidays. However, the festive mood is difficult to maintain – because nothing is as expected and some things go wrong. Mockridge is also involved as a co-producer. Cristina do Rego, Lucas Reiber, Seyneb Saleh, Johanna Gastdorf, Rudolf Kowalski and Carmen-Maja Antoni can be seen in front of the camera.

In the US, "Batwoman" was launched in October 2019. From November 5, 2020, the DC series will celebrate its German free TV premiere (every Thursday from 8:15 p.m. on sixx). In the first 20 episodes, Ruby Rose (34) can be seen in the title role as Bruce Wayne's cousin Kate Kane. However, the Australian actress left the series after one season. In the second season Javicia Leslie (33) becomes Batwoman.

The second season of "The Handmaid's Tale – The Maid's Report" is also coming to German free TV for the first time. From November 6th, Tele 5 will show the continuation of the award-winning dystopia series on Fridays and Saturdays from 10:15 p.m. in double episodes and on the final day on November 21st as a triple – with three episodes in a row. How is Desfred's (Elisabeth Moss) pregnancy going? Excitement is guaranteed.

In the new series "Lucie. It works!" Young Berliner Lucie (Cristina do Rego) ends up doing social hours in the Waldschloss Kleeberg as a kitchen helper – an institution for children and young people who cannot or do not want to go home. Actually, Lucie just wants to do her job and then quickly back to her demented grandpa Kurt (Peter Sattmann). But home manager Gleim (Robert Schupp) surprisingly makes her a job offer. The eight-part season will be broadcast in double episodes on VOX from November 18 at 8:15 p.m., every Wednesday. From November 11th, the series will be completely available on TVNow.

Actress Katrin Bauerfeind (38) returns with the comedy series "Ms. Jordan equals". In the second season, title character Eva Jordan has to struggle with serious problems as a result of her electoral defeat for mayoress. The Equal Opportunities Office is faced with a drastic budget cut, which is why one post has to be deleted. But who has to leave the team? The new episodes will be available exclusively from Joyn PLUS + from November 5th.

From November 23, a series classic will return on TVNow: "Forbidden Love – Next Generation". The new edition of the popular ARD early evening series "Verbotene Liebe" combines old characters with new characters. Among others, Ansgar von Lahnstein (Wolfram Grandezka), Charlie Schneider (Gabriele Metzger) and their nephew Oliver Sabel (Jo Weil) are back in the party. The newcomers include actors Heinz Hoenig, Stephanie Japp, Sina Zadra, Frederik Götz, Livia Matthes and Lennart Betzgen.

With the HBO miniseries "The Undoing", the new project by "Big Little Lies" maker David E. Kelley (64) hits German screens. Grace Fraser (Nicole Kidman) is a successful therapist, has a happy marriage to surgeon Jonathan (Hugh Grant) and their son goes to a prestigious private school in New York City. But everything changes overnight: The mother of one of her son's classmates is brutally murdered, Grace's husband has disappeared and she herself is suspected and hunted by the media. The six-part mini-series can be seen from November 30th, every Monday from 8:15 p.m. on Sky Atlantic HD in double episodes and is available on demand on Sky Ticket in Germany and via Sky Q.

The first season of "Motherland: Fort Salem" will be available on Amazon Prime Video from November 20th. The series is set in an alternative America. There witches ended their persecution 300 years ago by signing a pact with the US government to fight for their country. The focus is on three young women in the present, whose careers are accompanied from basic training in combat magic to their first assignment.

In addition, the German dubbed version of "El Presidente" will be available from November 6th. The series uses the story of Sergio Jadue (41) to illuminate the corruption scandal surrounding FIFA in 2015. The insignificant Chilean football club chairman became a key figure in the so-called "FIFA Gate" alongside Julio Grondona (1931-2014), the notorious President of the Argentine Football Association.
