In “The air to breathe” (ZDF), a seriously ill actress tries to keep her diagnosis a secret. On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s throne, ZDF looks back on the life of the monarch. In “7500” (ONE) terrorists storm the cockpit of a passenger plane.

Miriam Maertens (Eva Meckbach) comes from a well-known Hamburg family of actors. She grows up sheltered and carefree, but the older she gets, the worse it is for her. The shocking diagnosis: cystic fibrosis. She promises her mother Christa (Janna Striebeck) that she will not die and decides to lead a double life at an early age. She lives as if she were healthy, the illness is her secret. When her father Peter (Michael Wittenborn) reads in the newspaper about two Munich doctors who have developed a new method for treating cystic fibrosis, Miriam meets people for the first time who can help her.

On the occasion of the celebrations for Queen Elizabeth II’s 70th jubilee at the beginning of June 2022, the documentary picks out six crucial phases in the life of the monarch and tells of moving moments, crucial tests of the royal family and of the United Kingdom through the decades. Is the Queen a relic from a bygone era, the royal family an anachronism – or is there something more important, valuable, even meaningful behind it?

A group of men enters the cockpit. A struggle begins between the crew and the attackers.

Hollywood in 1969. Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) has seen better days. As a TV star, he has achieved fame and financial support in series such as “Bounty Law”. Together with his stuntman Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt), who in all his coolness is indispensable to him as a chauffeur, handyman and friend, he fights for recognition. However, the USA is in transition.
