In “Die Toten vom Bodensee” (ZDF) there are disturbing photos in a murder case. In the first, the medal “Against animal seriousness” is awarded and on kabel eins Batman and Superman fight a battle of the giants.
8:15 p.m., ZDF, The dead from Lake Constance: Nemesis, crime thriller
Since Hanna Zeiler has not yet returned from her vacation, Micha Oberländer (Matthias Koeberlin) has to deal with the Austrian department inspector Luisa Hoffmann (Alina Fritsch). At the same time, he has to penetrate the intimate network of an only apparently conventional family. A man’s lifeless body is found in the forest near Lake Constance. In the victim’s makeshift accommodation, photos of the family of Professor Lambeck (Heikko Deutschmann), head of the psychiatric clinic at Lake Constance, are found, in which every family member’s eyes have been gouged out.

In Aachen, the “Order against animal seriousness”, which has been traditionally awarded since 1950, will be awarded for the 72nd time by the Aachen Carnival Association AKV. This year, for the first time, moderator Sandra Maischberger and the new President of AKV Wolfgang Hyrenbach will lead through the award ceremony. The incumbent German Foreign Minister, Annalena Baerbock, is the eighth woman in history to receive the Order Against Animal Seriousness from the Aachen Carnival Association (AKV) this year. This year’s laudator will be the previous year’s recipient of the medal 2022: the actress Iris Berben.

Playing with the whole body: One candidate and one celebrity form a team. They have to explain given terms to each other – with words and gestures. Four player celebrity duets each compete in duels to collect the most points and get a chance at the prize pyramid. Also present are Simone Thomalla, Ruth Moschner, Tom Beck and Bastian Bielendorfer.

Batman alias Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) has to watch idly as Superman (Henry Cavill) devastates the whole of Metropolis in a duel against Zod and buries its inhabitants under the rubble. Driven by anger and pain, Batman devises a plan to destroy what he sees as an uncaring, godlike alien. But he has no idea that he is just a puppet of the insane tech billionaire Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg), who is trying to play the superheroes off against each other.
10:15 p.m., ZDF, North Sea death trap, thriller
Tectonic shifts shake the North Sea. A number of Norwegian oil rigs have to be evacuated. A man stays behind to manually plug a final well. Then water seeps into the collapsed platform. But he does not manage to return to the evacuating helicopter in time. The oil rig collapses, masses of water penetrate the pipes and supply shafts.
