In “Die Toten vom Bodensee: Der Blutritt” (ZDF) there is a bloody attack. At the “Summit of the Quiz Giants” (RTL) Palina Rojinski is looking for a new champion and at kabel eins Harrison Ford alias “Indiana Jones” puts his hat on again.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, The dead from Lake Constance: The blood ride, thriller

In the vicinity of the blood ride with over 3,000 horses, Marlene Stöhr (Stefanie von Poser) is shot with a crossbow. Marlene survived the attack, but is put into an artificial coma. Marlene’s son Oliver (Marlon Boess) returned to Lake Constance a few days ago. He had tried to avoid being accused by his family, who blamed him for the death of his godmother a year ago. His godmother had died in a fire at the stud along with a valuable stallion that Marlene believed she had seen alive during the blood ride shortly before her death.

8:15 p.m., The First, Grandchildren for Beginners, comedy

Karin (Maren Kroymann) falls on her head in retirement. Her husband Harald (Günther Maria Halmer) would rather save up for a stair lift than finally go overseas with Karin. In order to bring freshness into her life, the fit senior citizen follows the example of her funky sister-in-law Philippa (Barbara Sukowa), who supports young parents as a volunteer grandmother. Unlike Philippa, a teacher and grandmother by profession, Karin has little practical experience with children. However, she quickly manages not only to gain the trust of the neglected Jannik (Julius Weckauf).

8:15 p.m., RTL, summit of the quiz giants, quiz show

In another edition, Günther Jauch, Johannes B. Kerner and Sonja Zietlow compete against the best quiz candidates in Germany. The teams not only have to score with knowledge, but also with endurance and skill. If the challengers win, they take home the sum they earned. If the TV stars clear away, the person from the audience who initially answered a guessing question best wins. Palina Rojinski moderates.

8:15 p.m., kabel eins, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, action-adventure

When Harrison Ford puts on his hat and grabs a whip, sinister figures in the jungle and elsewhere have nothing to laugh about – not even in part four of the “Indiana Jones” series. During the Cold War, the adventurer falls into the clutches of the Soviets. He narrowly escapes and shortly thereafter receives clues to a mysterious crystal skull that is said to be hidden in Peru. The archaeologist sets off immediately. But the enemy has also cast an eye on the artifact.

8:15 p.m., ZDFneo, Inspector Barnaby: unlucky bird, thriller

His wife Mallory (Kate Buffery) has written him off and devotes himself to falconry – that’s when Julian Shepherd (Robert Morgan) is murdered. Shortly thereafter, Charles (Richard Todd) also dies, albeit a natural death. In order not to have to pay off the creditors, the family and manager hide his body in a freezer. Perhaps they would be able to escape with the money if they didn’t fall out over the distribution of the loot, if a burglar didn’t accidentally discover Charles’ body in the chest and if Inspector Barnaby (John Nettles) couldn’t combine things so astutely.
