In “The Gamblers” (Das Erste), a generous stranger intervenes in the fate of a family. Matthew McConaughey travels into space in “Interstellar” (kabel eins). In “You’ll never figure that out!” (ZDF) celebrities ask themselves weird questions again.

One day, the rich and unhappy Herr Herzinger (Branko Samarovski) discovers a child’s wish list in his garden. Touched by the little boy’s wishes, he goes in search of the child’s family, finds what he is looking for in a playground and an idea begins to grow: what if the child’s parents or other parents were to be supported in finding each other turn more to the happiness that the children so long for?

8:15 p.m., kabel eins, Interstellar, Sci-Fi

In the not too distant future the earth will begin to collapse, climate change will show itself with all its consequences. Everyone’s life is threatened and human ways of life have started to destroy the planet. Former astronaut Joe Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) and his colleague Dr. Amelia Brand (Anne Hathaway) undertake journeys through space wormholes and the consequences that come with them in order to ensure human survival.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, You’ll never get it!, Quiz show

Two prominent guessing teams play against each other in ten rounds for victory. Dunja Hayali, Henry Maske, Andrea Sawatzki, Tom Wlaschiha, Sonja Zietlow and Jürgen von der Lippe will be there. Creativity is required for the curious questions. Johannes B. Kerner was on the road himself in the run-up to the show and brought back several questions in the form of entertaining clips.

8:15 p.m., RTL, Mario Barth reveals! – Attention construction site, show

Mario Barth presents grandiose construction projects where a lot went wrong – motorways, swimming pools, opera houses and train stations. Sometimes it takes decades to renovate them, sometimes the costs skyrocket and sometimes nothing happens and it still costs a lot of tax money.

8:15 p.m., ZDFneo, Wilsberg: loyalty test, thriller

Ekki (Oliver Korittke) is about to move in with his girlfriend Silke (Nadja Becker). But shortly afterwards he is hit on by the pretty Charlotte (Nele Kiper). Ekki is ready for a fling. But when he comes back from the toilet, she’s gone. The next day he sees on the news that Charlotte has thrown herself out of the window. Ekki can’t believe she killed herself and asks Wilsberg (Leonard Lansink) to investigate. Wilsberg quickly finds out that Charlotte was a loyalty tester.
