In the “House of Mysterious Clocks” (VOX), an orphan boy discovers a dangerous magic. The special unit “ZERV” (ZDF) unexpectedly has to investigate their own employer. In the “Tatort” (WDR) the trainer of the Cologne Tanzmariechen is found dead.

8:15 p.m., VOX, The house of mysterious clocks, fantasy adventures

When Lewis’ (Owen Vaccaro) parents die, he moves in with his uncle Jonathan (Jack Black) in his strange house. A house in which many clocks tick at the same time, furniture moves and pictures exchange themselves – and then there is the cranky neighbor Mrs. Zimmermann (Cate Blanchett). It quickly becomes clear to Lewis that magic is involved everywhere and a battle of good versus evil is raging. With the help of his uncle and his neighbor he tries to prevent the impending end of the world.

Gärster (Thorsten Merten) is desperate after Reiko Böttcher’s death. He feels threatened and offers ZERV his cooperation. After Frauke Beckmann (Henriette Hölzel) found out that State Secretary Bohr used to work for a weapons company, the ZERV surprisingly targeted their own employer. This is very inconvenient for her boss Thieme (Rainer Bock). Suddenly the press fired on ZERV. Behind Thieme’s back, Peter Simon makes a deal with Gärster.

8:15 p.m., WDR, crime scene: Tanzmariechen, thriller

No Tanzmariechen could get past her. And Elke Schetter has also clashed with club president Günter Kowatsch (Herbert Knaup): Now the strict dance trainer of the carnival club “De Jecke Aape” has been murdered. And that just a few days before the start of the new carnival session. A disaster! During their investigations, inspectors Freddy Schenk (Dietmar Bär) and Max Ballauf (Klaus J. Behrendt) quickly find out that “De Jecke Aape” has recently been anything but cheerful.

Everyone expects Nené to become the wife of the young emperor. But when the paths of the fun-loving younger sister Sisi (Cristiana Capotondi) and the strictly raised Franz Joseph cross, everything turns out differently. The Emperor chooses Sisi.

The film juxtaposes anecdotes from the animal kingdom in a breathtaking arc of images that will evoke laughter and wonder, and demonstrate how amazing abilities can come from any living being. And when humans like to boast of their empathy and complex emotional world: Social behavior is also widespread in the animal kingdom, couples stay connected for life, people mourn the deceased of their own kind, bitter territorial battles are fought.
