Saskia Vester ends up in Italy as a “nanny” (Das Erste). Christian Bale and Matt Damon are in a rush for speed in “Le Mans 66” (ProSieben). In addition, the “boss” (ZDF) investigates the murder of a young rider.

20:15, Das Erste, The Nanny: Mission Italy, Comedy

Henni (Saskia Vester) gets off the long-distance bus from Munich to Bari in Apulia, full of anticipation. Her new job takes the experienced nanny to a German emigrant family with two teenagers. Rosa Westphal (Clelia Sarto) and her husband Benno (Janek Rieke) run an idyllic olive farm and have high hopes for the experienced educator. But Henni wonders why the clever, straight-A student Luisa (Laila Padotzke) and the musically talented but sensitive Julian (Marlon Heidel) need supervision at all – especially since the family is apparently in financial difficulties.

8:15 p.m., ProSieben, Le Mans 66 – Against All Odds, racing drama

In 1966 in Le Mans, vehicle developer Carroll Shelby (Matt Damon) decides, against all warnings, to work with the temperamental racing driver Ken Miles (Christian Bale). Their goal is to win the famous Le Mans race and defeat Ferrari, despite all adversities and bad forecasts. The competition for victory is tough and demands everything from them.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, The Boss: In Cold Blood, crime series

Vera Lanz (Katharina Böhm) and her team are taken to a picturesque forest near Munich. 17-year-old rider Brit Stadler was shot dead while out riding. Her friend Rieke Berger (Greta Bohacek), who was with her, has disappeared without a trace. Was she possibly kidnapped by the shooter? The investigation leads to a nearby horse farm where the two girls spent a lot of time.

20:15, Sat.1, Stars in the Manege, Circus

Bright lights, sparkling eyes and impressive performances – circus director Jörg Pilawa is once again inviting numerous celebrities to the ring of Munich’s Circus Krone to delight the audience with spectacular performances. How confidently will Henning Baum master the pole for the human pyramid? Will Susan Sideropoulos manage the balancing act on the wobbly ladder? And how will Rúrik Gíslason do in the duo acrobatics?

21:15, ZDF, Last Trace Berlin: Overboard without a trace, crime series

René Schilling (David Rott) is researching the case of the missing dentist Hammersfahr for his true crime podcast. Shortly afterwards, only Schilling’s empty canoe is found on a lake. According to his editor Frizzi Berger (Katia Fellin), the podcast should be discontinued because Schilling had become aggressive towards Mrs. Hammersfahr (Marie Rönnebeck). But it soon becomes clear that Frizzi is not telling the whole truth and that Schilling had a different plan.
