“The Protector” (Das Erste) is responsible for the life of a key witness who has just survived an assassination attempt. Many pop stars are guests on the “Giovanni Zarrella Show” (ZDF). Dwayne Johnson takes on mutated giant animals in “Rampage” (ProSieben).

The experienced BKA officer Jan Schäfer (Tobias Oertel) is given the job of protecting a key witness from the International Maritime Tribunal in Hamburg. Fiona Weibel (Marlene Tanczik), ambitious foreign employee of a Swiss shipping company, is to testify against her own company in a controversial lawsuit. Fiona has known how dangerous their opaque business dealings in the Middle East are since an assassination attempt in Cairo, which the young businesswoman – unlike her boss Urs Beerenberg (Markus Graf) – survived.
8:15 p.m., ProSieben, Rampage – Big Meets Bigger, Monster Action
Primate researcher Davis Okoye (Dwayne Johnson) and silverback gorilla George have a close relationship because Davis raised the monkey from an early age. When an illegal genetic experiment goes awry and George suddenly mutates into a giant monster, Davis must find an antidote to save his animal friend as soon as possible. Because this is already in the government’s sights.

The singer and entertainer Giovanni Zarrella presents a new edition of his music show and is looking forward to many national and international stars. Howard Carpendale, Vicky Leandros, Matthias Reim, Sonia Liebing, Nino de Angelo, DJ Ötzi, Mark Keller, Milow, Il Volo, Patricia Kelly and the musical “Aladdin” have announced themselves.
8:15 p.m., VOX, GI Joe – The Reckoning, Action
The American special unit GI Joe and the young captain of the elite group Duke are destroyed in an insidious attack by their own army colleagues of all people. Roadblock (Dwayne Johnson), Lady Jaye (Adrianne Palicki) and Flint (DJ Cotrona) are the only Joes to survive the massacre. Villain Zartan (Arnold Vosloo) is responsible for the act of violence. Disguised as the double of the US President, the leader of the “Cobra” unit will use any means necessary to seize control of humanity as quickly as possible.

Emma (Natalie Portman) and Adam (Ashton Kutcher): two childhood friends who suddenly find more in common. After years of a rather fleeting acquaintance, Adam ends up in Emma’s flat at the end of a night of partying – and in bed with Emma. But Emma can’t imagine a relationship, so they decide to just be friends and sleep together from time to time. But can this work in the long run without feelings and obligations?
