The “public prosecutor” (ZDF) is investigating after a 17-year-old was found dead in a holiday apartment. Saskia Vester ended up in Canada as a “nanny” (Das Erste). In “Mechanic: Resurrection” (RTLzwei), contract killer Bishop is forced on a deadly mission.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, The Public Prosecutor: Fleeting Traces, Crime Series

After an anonymous tip, a 17-year-old is found dead in a holiday apartment. Now it’s up to public prosecutor Reuther (Rainer Hunold) to find out why the girl had to die. Rabea Finck (Vanessa Kotschetkov) was reported missing three days earlier. The suspicion of a kidnapping is obvious, even if there was no ransom demand. When Julia Schröder (Anika Baumann) and Alexander Witte (Jannik Mioducki) bring the news of his father’s (David Bredinc) death, they learn that he is being threatened.

8:15 p.m., The First, The Nanny: Mission Canada, Drama

Henni (Saskia Vester) can hardly believe it: Canada really is as beautiful as the Munich native dreamed it would be! Her ticket to the world is another scam job as a premium nanny. The German-born entrepreneur Christopher (Jens Atzorn) has hired her as a supervisor for his daughter Bristol (Trixi Janson) in order to be able to prepare his second wedding in peace. Soon after her arrival, Henni realizes that the 13-year-old not only has trouble with her future stepmother Pia (Luise Wolfram), but that she also attracts trouble: shoplifting as a test of courage, a secret party tour and bad grades at school.

David Dunn (Bruce Willis) – a man with superhuman strength – and Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy), who suffers from multiple personality disorder, are committed to a mental hospital. Dr. works there. Ellie Staple (Sarah Paulson) with patients who claim to have superpowers. Elijah Price (Samuel L. Jackson) is also being held at the facility – and sees the arrival of Dunn and Crumb as a chance to finally prove to mankind that superheroes exist.

8:15 p.m., RTLzwei, The Mechanic 2 – Resurrection, Action

Contract killer Arthur Bishop (Jason Statham) wanted to finally hang up his job – that was the plan. But his violent past quickly catches up with him when an ex-client kidnaps his lover Gina (Jessica Alba) and threatens to kill her within 36 hours. Blackmailed back into his old job, the “Mechanic” travels the world doing what he does best: commit three assassinations and make them look like accidents.

9:15 p.m., ZDF, SOKO Leipzig: Frog Queens, crime series

Sociology professor Heidi Steinbach (Katrin Bühring) is found dead at home by her husband. Prof. Rossi (Anna Stieblich) can rule out an accident. Steinbach was the victim of a violent crime. The investigations lead to the university, where Steinbach not only made friends in her department. Her foundation in particular is sharply criticized by two of her students, Lisa (Camille Dombrowsky) and Hannah (Carolin Garnier), and seen as the cornerstone of social injustice.
