“The three from the garbage disposal” (Das Erste) try to save their ailing local bar. “Der Alte” (ZDF) is looking for the murderer of a journalist. Later master detective “Sherlock” (ONE) is looking for a stranger who destroys Margaret Thatcher’s statues.

8:15 p.m., The First, The Three From Garbage Collection: Kassensturz, Comedy

“Captain” Werner Träsch (Uwe Ochsenknecht) and “Späti” operator Gabi (Adelheid Kleineidam) get serious and move in together! The widowed nostalgic has not yet fully arrived in the new togetherness: Instead of helping Gabi with the furnishing of the common apartment, Werner is committed as a rescuer for his old local pub “Zur Traube” in an exemplary way against the Berlin pub dying. To prevent the establishment from going bankrupt, Werner first drives in the open lids of the regulars.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, Der Alte: Heimattreu, crime series

The journalist Rüdiger Löss is found dead behind a dormitory for asylum seekers. Have refugees eliminated a critical reporter or did he become the victim of right-wing protesters? The asylum seeker Ahmad Sameer (Reza Brojerdi) is targeted by the investigators when incriminating photos of him are discovered on the reporter’s camera. Unfortunately, the clever criminal’s next move is a long time coming. When Sherlock becomes aware of a seemingly insignificant detail in the death of a young man, his instincts awaken. The fact that a statue of the former Prime Minister Thatcher was destroyed in his parents’ house leads to a fascinating mystery. Someone is looking for something precious that they suspected was in the bust.
