Attorney Borchert is looking for a kidnapped boy in the “Zurich crime thriller” (Das Erste). In “Between Two Lives” (Sat.1), Kate Winslet and Idris Elba fight for survival after a plane crash. Leonardo DiCaprio is the charming impostor in “Catch Me If You Can” (RTLzwei).

8:15 p.m., Das Erste, Der Zürich-Krimi: Borchert and the prodigal son, Krimi

Thomas Borchert (Christian Kohlund) gets the order from his old friend Antonius Bildermann (Uwe Kockisch) to draw up a prenuptial agreement for his marriage to the much younger Mira (Idil Üner). Borchert’s ability to convey is also in demand, because there are tensions not only with Antonius’ “ex” Stefanie (Kirsten Block). Son Julian (Johannes Meister) rejects the stepmother. Even before Borchert can draw up the controversial contract, the Bildermanns have to stand together: Julian is kidnapped while jogging!

After a dramatic plane crash, the two strangers Alex Martin (Kate Winslet) and Ben Bass (Idris Elba) face their greatest challenge: in the middle of a snow-covered mountains, they fight for sheer survival and try to protect themselves from the cold and wild animals in the wreck . When hope of rescue waned, however, they made a momentous decision: Despite their injuries, they had to make their way down to the valley on foot.

Stefan Landsberger (Michael von Au) and his son Jakob (Riccardo Campione) want to cut wood for their carpentry in a remote clearing when Stefan injured himself with a circular saw. They have a serious accident on the way to the hospital. Alerted by Jacob’s fiancé Carla Pichl (Nadine Kösters), the mountain rescuers start a large-scale search for father and son. Nobody knows where Stefan and Jakob were.

After teenage boy Frank Abagnale Jr. (Leonardo DiCaprio) was able to successfully fool his classmates at his new school that he is the new teacher, if he gets a taste for it: He wants to use his talent on a larger scale and in the shortest possible time becomes wealthy as a pilot, doctor, public prosecutor and history professor and reputation. But since he also forged checks in the millions, the ambitious and tenacious FBI agent Carl Hanratty (Tom Hanks) is soon on his heels.

In England around 1200 Robin Longstride (Russell Crowe) is an archer in the army of King Richard the Lionheart. Lionheart is struck by an arrow while attempting to take a French castle. The death of the king is reason enough for Robin and his three companions to return to England. But the intervention in an attack on a group of crusaders also kills Robin’s friend and confidante Robert Loxley. His death assigns him a new purpose: bring the crown to England and grant Loxley’s last wish.
