The craftswoman Eva Jensen (Jennifer Ulrich) is planning a completely new start on the Baltic Sea. She wants to take over a workshop there and become self-employed. However, the sales negotiations are difficult because the sellers are divided. While the seller Heide (Jutta Wachowiak) wants to accept immediately, her ex-husband Hinrich (Hermann Beyer) is not ready to give up his beach chair workshop. In order to change the stubborn 75-year-old’s mind, the Hanseatic woman tries to talk to him. Even in the village, which urgently needs a carpenter, the new woman unexpectedly encounters difficulties. With the support of the school caretaker Trine (Claudia Geisler-Bading), from whom she rents a holiday room, Eva begins to get to know her neighbors.

Together with Alfred, he creates the identity of Batman. He soon finds himself confronted with numerous criminals and has to save his hometown.

In the floodplain forest of Leipzig, the lifeless Sonja Krenz (Angeline Anett Heilfort) is found with three stab wounds.
