8:15 p.m., ZDF, The Quartet: The Silence, crime thriller
Julia (Emma Floßmann), a completely disturbed young woman, is found in a suburban train station in Leipzig. In her arms: her dead twin sister Anna. The murder of Anna Kuschke presents “The Quartet” with a special challenge. Her sister Julia could provide the crucial clue – but she is traumatized and remains silent. While Linus (While the sisters (Dr. Anton Spieker) try to gain the trust of the main witness, “The Quartet” discovers that the sisters belong to a cult-like community around the threatening guru Raphael Wegner (Torben Liebrecht).
20:15, RTLzwei, A Writer’s Odyssey – Guardians of Time, music show
For six years, Guan Ning (Jiayin Lei) has been desperately searching for his daughter, who was kidnapped by human traffickers as a small child. At the same time, he is plagued by strange nightmares about a medieval city in a world full of magic, ruled by the cruel Lord Fire Mane – and the young hero Kongwen (Zijian Dong), who stands up to the tyrant. But what Guan Ning does not know is that a young author named Kongwen Lu is writing the story from his dreams at the same time, and the events in his story seem to be affecting reality.
20:15, ONE, The Zurich Crime: Borchert and the Dark Shadows, Crime
After an argument with her mother, youth psychologist Julia Egger (Anna Herrmann) has an accident, seriously injures a man and drives off headlong. Her explanation that she was deliberately pushed off the road by a dark SUV and did not see the man initially sounds unconvincing to her lawyers Borchert (Christian Kohlund) and Dominique (Ina Paule Klink) – especially since Julia has a history of drunk driving. While her younger half-sister Mavi (Flora Li Thiemann) stands by Julia, her parents do not seem to be of any help.
9:00 p.m., ProSieben, Meg, action horror
After being attacked by a giant sea monster, Jonas Taylor (Jason Statham) has no choice but to leave two members of his crew behind to save the rest of the team. Five years after the accident, the events of that mission catch up with him again when the research team of oceanologist Dr. Minway Zhang (Winston Zhao) is attacked by a gigantic shark in the Mariana Trench.
10:00 p.m., ZDF, Erzgebirge Crime – The Dead Man in the Moat, Crime
During repair work at Hartenstein Castle, the body of a man is found who was around 75 years old at the time of his death. The violent death occurred more than 20 years ago. Chief Inspector Winkler (Kai Scheve) investigates with his young colleague Karina (Lara Mandoki) and the forensic pathologist Charlotte von Sellin (Adina Vetter) in the neighboring small town. Forester Saskia Bergelt (Teresa Weißbach), who knows about the strange history of the castle, helps them with their investigations.
