You will never miss a program again. Here you will find all program highlights on Wednesday at a glance.

8:15 p.m., Das Erste, 12 days of summer, adventure film

Twelve days with a donkey on foot from Munich to Germany’s highest mountain, the Zugspitze: Father Marcel (Mehdi Nebbou) and son Felix (Yoran Leicher) will certainly not forget this trip. What is intended as an educational measure for the pubescent son becomes a dramatic-comic endurance test for both of them. Because not only Felix struggles with himself and the relationship with his mostly absent father, Marcel is also facing a new chapter in his life.

8:15 p.m., ProSieben, TV total, show

Friends of sophisticated entertainment television watch out! “TV total” is celebrating its brilliant comeback. From now on, the popular comedy show will be hosted by the Grimme Prize winner Sebastian Pufpaff. Stefan Raab remains behind the scenes and works as a producer of the show. Thanks to Nippelboard and the heavy tones as a studio band, there is a lot of atmosphere and nostalgia feeling.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, Marie Brand and the dead man in the jersey, crime thriller

After an anonymous tip, the body of the formerly successful cyclist Stefan Lürs (Markus Krojer) is found. Two years earlier he disappeared from sports and family life without a trace. There was no missing person report at the time because his family assumed that he had turned away from his sports career and wanted to lead a self-determined life. The investigation leads the commissioners to his stepfather Joachim Novotny (Peter Trabner).

8:15 p.m., kabel eins, Knowing – The future ends now, mystery shocker

The son of the astrophysicist and widower John Koestler (Nicolas Cage) visits a school where a fifty-year-old time capsule is found and opened. The scientist discovers something shocking in it: a series of numbers that accurately predicts the greatest catastrophes of the last 50 years with time, location and number of victims. But the next insight is even more terrible: the document predicts three more events that will result in a catastrophe of immeasurable magnitude. Koestler tries with all means to warn those responsible and thus gets into the center of death and destruction.

11:00 p.m., NDR, Kranitz: Money back in the event of separation, comedy series

Jutta (Angela Winkler) and Bernd (Günther Maria Halmer) met during the hippie era. They were wild, against any kind of bourgeoisie, screwed around, fought power struggles and in the process they repeatedly questioned their roles. But with increasing age, new life issues come to the fore for both of them. When Bernd proposes a romantic marriage to his Jutta, she sees the common ideals waning and the two find themselves on Klaus Kranitz’s (Jan Georg Schütte) couch.
