8:15 p.m., Das Erste, UFOs are more likely to fly here, drama

The film tells the story of the Baumann family, who live in Niersdorf, a town on the Lower Rhine that will give way to open-cast brown coal mining in a few years. Marita Baumanns (Since her husband’s death, Johanna Gastdorf) has been running the family bakery in collaboration with her brother-in-law Klaus (Markus John), his wife Irene (Petra Nadolny) and their daughter Natalie (Merle Wasmuth). The Baumanns are determined to stay in Niersdorf “until the excavator comes,” but the tensions in the village community due to the impending relocation initially affect their business and ultimately the Baumanns’ stable family structure.

8:15 p.m., Sat.1, The Taste, cooking competition

Guest judge Cornelia Poletto sends the teams “back to school”. The coaches themselves cook their way through school for their teams and create delicious dishes for the subjects “history”, “chemistry”, “mathematics” and “art”. Poletto brings Italian delicacies for solo cooking. In decision-making cooking, the task is called “Wish Day in the School Canteen.”

8:15 p.m., arte, All is lost – survival is everything, adventure drama

In the middle of the Indian Ocean, a man (Robert Redford) is suddenly woken from his sleep. His twelve-meter-long sailing yacht rammed a cargo shipping container floating in the open sea. His navigation equipment and radio fail, and he finds himself caught in the middle of a massive storm. At the last minute, the man manages to repair the leak in his boat.

8:15 p.m., kabel eins, game on probation, sports drama

Probation officer Sean Porter (Dwayne Johnson) is fed up with seeing young offenders incarcerated again after a short time at the Camp Kilpatrick juvenile correctional facility. Together with his colleague Malcolm Moore (Xzibit), he plans to set up a football team within four weeks in which the young offenders will learn teamwork, responsibility and self-respect.

8:15 p.m., ZDFneo, Wilsberg: Stallion parade, crime thriller

Richard Breiderhoff (Hannes Wegener) is accused of killing his wife. Meanwhile, Anna Springer (Rita Russek) has a blind date with Richard’s (Peter Davor) brother. However, he has evil in mind. When Anna finds out who he really is, he locks her in a cellar. Karsten urges her to call Georg Wilsberg (Leonard Lansink) so that he can prove Richard’s innocence. Wilsberg immediately notices that Anna is in danger and sets out to find the hiding place.
