In “The Assumption of Innocence” (Das Erste), Ulrich Tukur has to work as a star conductor with his hated ex-wife. Commissioner Anders (ZDF) has to deal with a difficult colleague on Gotland. Autumn delicacies are in demand at “The Taste” (Sat.1).

8:15 p.m., The First, The Presumption of Innocence, Comedy

Anticipation in Festspiel-Salzburg: The new production of “Don Giovanni” is in the final rehearsals, the arrival of the famous conductor Marius Atterson (Ulrich Tukur) is imminent. Unfortunately, the no less famous opera director David Roth (Simon Schwarz) feels so provoked in a rehearsal that he shoots himself offside with his lack of restraint. The festival president stays cool and persuades Beate Zierau (Catrin Striebeck) – a director who is rightly considered to be particularly difficult – to start production. A spicy choice, because Atterson and Zierau were once married.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, The Commissioner and the Sea: From Happy Days, Crime

A murder and a break-in in Visby on Gotland lead to an old police suicide: Inspector Anders (Walter Sittler) has to wonder whether he has made an investigative error in the past. A local series of burglaries leads to the murder of a homeowner. Robert Anders and his team are investigating the case. Support is provided by policeman Sigge (Matti Boustedt), whom nobody likes because he thinks a colleague on the island of Farö is a murderer.

8:15 p.m., Sat.1, The Taste, cooking show

Guest juror Viktoria Fuchs today evaluates the skills of the candidates, who have to show in the first round which autumn delicacies they conjure up from pumpkin and star anise, grape and balsamic vinegar, black salsify and chicory as well as pear and Jerusalem artichoke. Then Victoria’s secret ingredients from the Black Forest come into play in solo cooking. Who creates the tastiest vegetarian spoon out of porcini mushrooms, fir honey and lingonberries?

8:15 p.m., kabel eins, cowboys & aliens, sci-fi western mystery

In the middle of the Wild West, a nameless stranger (Daniel Craig) comes to the dusty town of Absolution in Arizona in 1873. But just as little as the man knows about his own identity, he knows how he got the metal strap on his arm. Trouble with the sheriff and cattle baron Colonel Dolarhyde (Harrison Ford) is not long in coming when he recognizes the wanted outlaw Jake Lonergan in him. But just as Jake is about to be taken to prison, brutal aliens attack the place. They catch the locals with their space gliders and lay everything down to ashes.

8:15 p.m., ZDFneo, Wilsberg: stomach, legs, bottom, crime thriller

Micki Hobelmeyer (Jörg Schüttauf) is acquitted in a rape trial. Wilsberg (Leonard Lansink) does not trust the verdict. He still knows Micki from his student days and doesn’t talk to him very well. The plaintiff Andrea Schröder (Daniela Wutte) is stunned: How could the psychological expert Dorith Magunsky (Rebecca Immanuel) question her credibility so fundamentally? As soon as the trial is over, Dorith Magunsky is terrorized by anonymous attackers.
