Widow Clara (Julia Koschitz) and widower Ulf (Heino Ferch) have an unusual thing in common: both mourn the loss of their spouses, but they cannot have them declared dead. Although there is no official doubt about the alleged suicide of Ulf’s wife Anke (Sabine Waibel) or the deadly glacier crash of Clara’s husband Enno (Roman Knižka), the official (Patrick Güldenberg), who adheres to the provisions of the law, insists on a corpse for the certification – and that does not exist in either case.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, A strong team: Thanksgiving, thriller

The “strong team” stands in front of the corpse of ex-commissioner Albert Kramm in an arbor of an allotment colony. He was beaten to death and no one seems to be concerned about his death. The corpse puzzles the investigators. The inhabitants of the colony are behaving strangely and are hindering the investigation. Otto (Florian Martens) shortens his vacation to go undercover as an allotment gardener.

9:45 p.m., ZDF, The Quartet: The Murder House, crime thriller

Two dead people in an old building in Leipzig pose many mysteries for “The Quartet”. Quarrels, lies, secrecy – every resident of the block of flats is suddenly a suspect. Antje Engel is found dead in the basement, while her neighbor Hannes Glöckl dies of poisoning at almost the same time. Can it be coincidence or does the death of one have something to do with the death of the other? Bernd Siebert (Martin Brambach), Antje Engel’s partner, quickly becomes the main suspect. The two argued constantly.
