A 17-year-old and his brother (15) wanted to use a foreign moped without authorization in a public underground car park in Spittal an der Drau on Wednesday. After that failed, they attacked a motorcycle that was also parked in the garage, broke open the seat cover and stole a tool kit from it.
Moped shorted
Furthermore, a motorcycle case was broken into and two pairs of gloves were stolen from it. With an iron bar they had brought with them, they broke open the iron door to a storage room in the underground car park. In this, however, there were only empty lockers. Finally, the two returned to the moped and this time they managed to start the moped by short-circuiting and leave the garage with it.
Joyride in Spittal
After driving around the urban area of Spittal, they parked the moped today, Thursday, around 1 a.m. in the area of the train station. After viewing the video surveillance, the perpetrators could be identified by the uplifting police officers. The 15-year-old has already been questioned.
