What will happen to the price of the Nintendo Switch?
Price increases in production and in freight costs make it more and more expensive for Nintendo to to craft new Switch consoles. In an interview with the Japanese business service Nikkei Asia, Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa now explains that the players still don’t have to worry. According to him, the price of the Nintendo Switch should remain unchanged.
There are two reasons for this decision. For one thing, Nintendo doesn’t want to exclude anyone with Switch prices rising. After all, they would also have to take part in the competition in the entire entertainment area. The second reason is that Nintendo doesn’t want to lose momentum in console sales. Nintendo Switch: Sales are currently weakening
Nintendo now has more than 111 million copies of the Switch sold.
