Price shock for Xiaomi fans: 12T series should be significantly more expensive

With the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro, Xiaomi offered a cheap offshoot of its top smartphone Xiaomi Mi 11 just in time for Christmas last year. The prices here started at 549.90 and 599.90 euros respectively. The Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro will obviously not be available that cheap.

According to the leaker SnoopyTech, the Xiaomi 12T should cost 649 euros in Europe, the 12T Pro even 849 euros. A significant increase in price compared to previous models. However, it should be mentioned that the information from SnoopyTech refers to the 256 gigabyte model. While the prices mentioned at the beginning were for the versions of the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro with 128 gigabytes.

But here, too, a price increase is announced. The usually accurate leaker Roland Quandt also shared information about the prices of the Xiaomi 12T series on Twitter. Accordingly, the 12T with 128 gigabytes of memory should cost around 580 euros, the 256 gigabyte model 630 euros. According to its information, Xiaomi calls around 800 euros for the Pro version. Here, too, Quandt only names prices for the 256 gigabyte version.

12T Pro could be significantly more expensive

If you take the prices for the 256 gigabyte model as a comparison, there is still a price increase of 100 to 150 euros for the Xiaomi 12T Pro. While the price of the 12T would remain almost unchanged.
