Samsung has announced the prices for its new TV models S95B and S95C. The QD-OLED technology is becoming much more interesting for customers due to the dual nature of the series.

- Samsung has released the prices for its 2023 TV models with QD OLED displays.
- As the entry-level model in the series, the S90C is available from 2,000 euros.
- This means that Samsung is attacking LG, which is also launching new OLED televisions this year.
The prices for the new QD OLED televisions from Samsung confirm what was already taken for granted in expert circles: the Korean manufacturer is picking up speed with the production of its new TV technology and is now also offering cheaper models.
It was only last year that Samsung equipped the S95B, the first television with its own QD OLED displays, and initially launched it on the market with rather high unit prices. Especially compared to the then new C2 from the established OLED top dog LG, the new Samsung technology initially seemed unaffordable.
Samsung S90C more attractive for beginners
The Korean TV world market leader from Seoul has now been able to expand its production capacities in line with all forecasts, is going in two directions into the second TV generation of QD-OLED and can therefore offer significantly more competitive entry-level prices:

Accordingly, the S90C should be available from 2,000 euros in its 55-inch version and thus enters the market much more cheaply than the successor to the S95B: The S95C already costs 2,500 euros in the same size, but also has a One Connect box and a 4.2.2 sound system.
In this way, Samsung is aligning its range with that of LG, at least to some extent: there are OLED televisions from the A to the Z class, from the entry-level model to the 8K luxury edition, in different price categories for a diverse clientele with a desire for high-end picture quality.
