LASK now offers day tickets for the league cracker against Salzburg. However, the high prices are met with a great deal of incomprehension, as they are also used to sell the most expensive day tickets in the Bundesliga – you can even buy cheaper tickets from Bayern Munich.
“I’ve been a LASK fan since my childhood and I’m therefore disappointed by the club management’s ticket and price policy in the new LASK stadium!” With these words, SPÖ Upper Austria regional manager Florian Koppler addressed the “Krone” yesterday. And he spoke to some of the black-and-white supporters from the heart. The fans were very upset in the run-up to the opening of the stadium, because instead of the desired single tickets, there were only subscriptions and double tickets for Lustenau and Salzburg. There was also a lack of understanding that the arena was not sold out at kick-off. Now the LASK has reacted! Day tickets for the cracker against Salzburg have been available since Tuesday. But there was no fan cheering. On the contrary! The ticket prices (full price from 40 euros/children from 6 years 20 euros) annoyed many, what followed was a shitstorm. Most expensive tickets in the league “We offer, among other things, a season subscription to the standing room grandstand for 190.80 euros. With 16 home games, this corresponds to a price of only 11.93 per game. In order to make such cheap subscription offers possible, higher-priced offers are also necessary, such as with day tickets,” says LASK. Koppler is not satisfied: “First there were no individual tickets for the opening and now they cost about the same from Bayern Munich and more than Salzburg or Rapid!” In fact: The league ranking has the most expensive individual prizes. In comparison: A seat ticket for the Europa League duel between Salzburg and Rome cost only 7 euros more at 47 euros. “Enough is enough! Football in Linz has to be there for everyone,” demands Koppler!
