The Smart Plug is part of the range of connected objects marketed by Amazon. Entirely devoted to the Alexa voice assistant, this wifi-connected socket does not need any connection bridge to provide access to its functions.
If we had to qualify the Smart Plug, we would say that it is a basic connected plug. It does what it is asked to do, pairs very easily and integrates perfectly into the Alexa ecosystem. It remains to have several devices from the manufacturer to take advantage of this last advantage to the maximum. Without this, the connected socket loses its usefulness, especially since it offers no functionality in parallel.
