In the coming days, fans of the saga of SEGA And Ryū ga Gotoku Studio will be able to discover Like a Dragon: Yakuzaa series adaptation live action. Announced only last June, the series has already been treated to a teaser that doesn’t show much, but here is a new trailer:
Like a Dragon: Yakuza promises to be faithful to video games, we will follow Kiryu, Nishiki, Yumi And Miho in the 90s, while they were preparing a robbery of an arcade Kamurochocontrolled by the family Dojima. 10 years later, Kiryu gets out of prison, but he has to return to Kamurocho to protect his former friends, even if their relationship is no longer in good shape. The tone will be serious, which already seems to bother some fans.
Of course, all eyes are on Ryoma Takeuchi, who seems to perfectly embody Kazuma Kiryubut Munetaka Aoki (Goro Majima) is already trying to steal the spotlight, as in the next video game in the franchise, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaiiavailable for pre-order at €59.99 on Amazon. The series Yakuza: Like a Dragon will arrive on Prime Video from October 24, 2024.
