Prime Video now sells its Ligue 1 pass to professionals


Amazon Prime Video will invest bars, restaurants and other public places of diffusion with its Ligue 1 Pass. The American platform estimates that it will be able to sell its subscriptions for professionals to around 25,000 establishments by 2024.

It will have taken time, but Prime Video will finally offer subscriptions for professionals on its Ligue 1 Pass. Launched in the summer of 2021, the latter was until now only available for individuals, at a price of 12.99 € monthly in addition to the subscription to Amazon Prime. €85 for ten screens and a Fire Stick

According to our colleagues from echoes, a pack will be offered at a rate of €85 per month initially, for a broadcast of up to ten simultaneous streams maximum. For those who do not already have a connected device – TV or box – with access to Prime Video, each subscription will ship a Fire Stick without a price increase.

For the occasion, Prime Video has teamed up with Screach, an English company specializing in this type of device, and is giving itself five years to achieve profitability in France. The American platform estimates that 25,000 establishments could be interested by 2024. A very modest park compared to that of the Canal+ Business offer, which has 508,000 subscribers. The historic broadcaster of Ligue 1 still has a few matches, Champions League and Europa League matches, in addition to other more or less promising disciplines such as F1 or rugby.
