Prime Video intends to mark the world with this Batman series which promises to be simply astonishing. Enough to give a big shot of nostalgia at the same time.
In August, Prime Video will welcome a highly anticipated new animated series, Batman: Caped Crusader, the full first season of ten episodes of which will be available on August 1. Produced by illustrious names such as JJ Abrams, Matt Reeves and Bruce Timm, this series promises a deep rereading of the Batman mythology. And it promises to be a huge slap in the gums.
A remarkable production for Batman on Prime Video
Bruce Wayne, a wealthy socialite, becomes Batman, a nighttime hero fighting corruption and crime in Gotham City, summarizes the plot of “Batman: Caped Crusader. The series aims to redefine the traditional superhero narrative by adding modern and complex elements, while remaining faithful to the spirit of the Batman: The Animated Series, co-created by Timm and broadcast in the 90s. Note also that the whole thing is set in the 40s (at least visually) A very good point which also pays homage to the very beginning of the Dark Knight. In short, very good on Prime. Video.
