Prince Albert and Princess Charlène: festive family photo for the wedding day

Prince Albert of Monaco and his Charlene Wittstock celebrated their dream wedding in 2011. There is a photo for everyone on the wedding day.

The Monegasque Prince Albert II (62) and the former professional swimmer Charlene Wittstock (42), born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, celebrated their dream wedding at the Princely Palace of the Grimaldis in Monaco on July 1, 2011. For the wedding day, the couple published a family photo on Facebook.

"On the occasion of their 9th wedding anniversary, the LL.AA.SS. Prince Albert and Princess Charlène are happy to share this photo taken in the Princely Palace with their children, Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella", is the formal comment on the photo. The parents can be seen sitting in a festive, dark wardrobe on a light couch. Between them, little Prince Jacques (5), also dressed in dark, took a seat and on the lap of Mum sits Princess Gabriella (5) in a white summer dress.

Albert and Charlene got engaged on June 23, 2010 after many years of relationship. The wedding followed a good year later. The offspring was a bit slow, but at the end of May 2014 the time had come: The court announced that the princess was pregnant. The twins were born in Monaco on December 10, 2014. Prince Albert has other children from previous relationships.
